My Night With Chef Massimo

I've been able to take photos on the main stages of festivals in front of 20,000 people, but last night was the most fun I have ever had shooting in my life. 

Massimo Bottura is the owner of and chef at Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy. He is a 3-Star Michelin rated chef, and his restaurant has been rated as the second best in the entire world. He also loves art and his food itself truly is art.

I shadowed the chef for over four hours, watching him carefully prep, plate and send off a 6 course meal to each of the 100 lucky guests in attendance, including former editor of Gourmet Magazine Ruth Reichl and 3-Star Chef Daniel Boulud. I even got to eat each of the 6 courses... talk about heaven :) Full album here! and thanks to the publications below for using my photos in their stories!
